William currently teaches theater at Kent State University Tuscarawas.
William is a ETCP Certified Rigger – Theater, and a ETCP Recognized Trainer.
Professionally, he has worked all over the world to fly performers in North America, Central America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Before working as a flying director at Hall Associates Flying Effects, Bill toured Korea as a flying operator for ZFX Flying Effects. He also served as a technical director for the Lookingglass Theater Company in Chicago, as well as a venue technician at the La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego.
Academically, William earned his MFA Theater in Technical Direction from Northern Illinois University, and his Masters in Theater from Bowling Green State University in conjunction with the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, UK.
Prior to all this work in theater, William served several years of his life with the United States Army Airborne Corps.
