History
Founded in 1997, The North American Association of Flying Effects Directors (NAAFED) is an educational organization focused on training operators and performers in the flying effects industry.
Learning
Workshop participants attend lectures, rig and operate different types of flying systems, experience flying choreography, and sharpen their flying skills.
Instruction
Participants receive the benefit of learning from riggers certified by the Entertainment Technician Certification Program. Guest lectures by a variety of industry professionals complement the instruction by the team of regular instructors.
